When I started making crystal trees, I noticed something right away that I didn’t understand until later: Working with copper and crystals calmed me. I had come a long way, but my control freak, plan-it, fearful li’l Momily self had trouble being in the moment and going with the flow. I was looking for peace—and God (or whatever loving force that’s out there) can’t hit a moving target.
The more I did this, the more I was able to slow down—and before I was even aware it was happening, I turned it into a whole-ass business that I then figured out how to share with others.
I have now sat around tables with dozens of humans to teach them not just how to make a crystal tree with intention and creativity, but to share pieces of my story and myself that allow us to know we aren’t unique and alone.
Many times I have been told by guests, “I was supposed to be here,” or, “I wasn’t going to come but I’m so glad I did.” Maybe you’re here to discover the same thing.
